We're Retiring After 46 Wonderful Years.
After 46 wonderful years of Preserving the Tradition of Handmade Pottery, we have made the heartfelt decision to wind down our business. It has been an honor to share our craft with generations of customers who value the beauty and authenticity of handmade work. As we prepare to say goodbye, we invite you to add to your collection from our remaining pieces - each one created with the same care and spirit that has defined our work for nearly half a century.
Thank you to all of you who have made this the best way ever to make a living — we are so very grateful!
Curbside pickup available for webstore orders.
Studio visits by appointment only - cash, check, Venmo & Zelle accepted.

NOTE: Sue is in charge of closing the business, and it's gonna take a while, so check back from time to time to see the pots (including some very nice seconds) that have been hiding in the studio.
We started in 1979 and have dedicated ourselves to designing and hand crafting stoneware pottery that reflects our goals of preserving the traditions of the past while making functional pottery that is beautiful, contemporary and meant to be used on a daily basis.

While every piece we make shares the same level of quality, each one is also individually created by hand so that no two are exactly alike.
Our handmade pottery is tough, durable stoneware that has been fired to a temperature of 2400°. Our stoneware pottery is food safe, microwave safe, dishwasher safe and meant to be used on a daily basis. Our stoneware ovenware pottery is durable and safe for normal oven use. We recommend that you not preheat your oven before using. See our FAQ page to learn more.
If you're here, exploring our website, it's probably because you love handmade pottery and already know that a piece we may call a "Dinner Plate" can also be used as a serving tray, a dresser tray to hold your perfume, or a piece you keep on a table to catch your mail and car keys. We may make the clay and glazes, throw or hand form the pots, glaze and fire them, but they're not completely finished until they are being used and enjoyed by pottery lovers like you (or the people you are nice enough to give them to).
