We
don't want you to be stuck with an empty Cookie
Jar, so here's one of our favorite recipes.
These are the cookies that I always hoped
would be in Grandma's cookie jar when we visited her. She was
born in 1891 in Hungary and was the best cook in the world (but
then, whose Grandma wasn't?). I think that the work to pleasure
ratio of this recipe is hard to beat.

This is a great recipe to use with
our Ramekins.
We'd never heard of Hot Browns until we
sold our first set of ramekins in Louisville, KY. It seems that
everyone there knows what they are because it's a famous recipe
that originated at the old Brown Hotel in downtown Louisville.
We hope you'll give them a try. They're
best when served in our ramekins.

This is a great recipe to use with
our Covered Casserole.
We found it in a recipe book that we've
had for so long that it started with instructions for sorting
and washing your dried pinto beans. Now that the grocery shelves
are well stocked with canned legumes of all kinds, we decided
to adjust the recipe for today's cooks.
The apple rings really give it a
special taste.

This is a recipe
you can use with our Rectangular Baking Dish.
If you've never used tofu
or thought that it was a tasteless food, we urge you to try this
recipe. We think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
We like substituting tofu
in recipes that call for ricotta cheese because it really cuts
down on the fat and calorie content.

Use this recipe with our
Rectangular
Baking Dish.
This is a recipe Susan
discovered tucked into one of her Grandmother's cookbooks. She
could hardly believe her eyes when she realized that Grandma
actually used canned soup in a recipe, as she usually made everything
from scratch.

This is a recipe you can
use with our Square Baker.
This one usually elicits
a good laugh from most folks. After all, isn't "healthy
brownies" an oxymoron?
We love sweets, and this
is a yummy and almost guiltless recipe.

This is a recipe
you can use with our Loaf
Pan.
It doesn't get much easier
than this for a quick homemade loaf of bread.

This is a tasty recipe
that is wonderful to serve in our Individual Casseroles
or the Ramekins.
It's quick and easy.

Another tasty meatless meal that
can be made in and served from our Square Baker. Double the recipe and use our
Rectangular
Baker.
Hot and bubbly, straight out of the oven
to the table ... we hope you'll try it. (Don't tell 'em and no
one will know there's tofu in it).

Make perfect fluffy rice for two in our
baby casserole. It's ideal for serving as well as cooking and
using the lid will keep it warm on the table if the other parts
of your meal are not ready at the same time.
Use our two quart casserole if you want
to double the recipe.
